High-Precision Clamping Solutions for Bundle Cutting

High-Efficiency Bundle Cutting: Three Clamping Methods Explained

Optimized clamping solutions for mass production of steel tubes, enhancing precision and efficiency.

1. Top Clamp (Hydraulic Vertical Clamping)

Top Clamp is a bundle clamping technology powered by hydraulic force. Its core structure consists of a high-output hydraulic cylinder connected to a fixed-size pressure plate.

Operating Principle: Once the bundle of steel tubes is positioned, the Top Clamp device applies direct vertical pressure. The powerful hydraulic force secures all tubes firmly against the base, ensuring no displacement occurs during the cutting process. It is the fundamental solution for enhancing bundle cutting stability.

2. Nesting Fixture (Adjustable Nesting System)

The Nesting Fixture is an advanced evolution of the Top Clamp, specifically designed for processing environments that require high flexibility.

Key Features: Unlike the fixed plate, the lower clamping surface consists of two independent plates. Operators can manually or automatically adjust the width based on the arrangement and quantity of the tubes. This design allows for a tighter fit around the tube bundle, significantly reducing vibrations caused by gaps between different tube diameters or counts.

Pack Clamp three-sided vise system - Ultimate stability for high-precision bundle cutting

3. Pack Clamp (Three-Sided Composite Clamping)

Pack Clamp is a comprehensive clamping system that combines horizontal and vertical pressure, ideal for batch cutting that demands extreme precision.

Operating Principle: This system integrates the pressure plate directly onto the vise system. It uses the vise for powerful side-to-side compression while simultaneously applying downward pressure from the top plate. By utilizing the grooves on the vise and the top plate to create an enclosed space, it achieves three-sided clamping (Left, Right, and Top). This effectively locks the tubes in place, providing ultimate vibration dampening and positioning accuracy.
